video problem for wonder movie

I have Civ4 complete without mod, and got the latest update through the game advance menu. i play using laptop running windows xp with nvidia GeForceGo 7400 (again all native setting without mod) and update to the latest driver through Dell website.

Problem: when complete a wonder, the wonder movie will be played on a dark screen and the system crash back to the desktop. Error msg is: unexpected error. Most of the times when i reload (usually from auto saves), the wonder movie will play fine.

Any solution? Thanks.

there is a newer video driver available for this graphics card:
http://www.nvidia.com/object/geforce_notebook_winxp_179.48_beta.html
try installing it - it is possible that you need to check the dell website whether they offer it though.

i had install the new driver but problem persist...

try the following: open the civilizationIV.ini and set hidemoviebackground from 0 to 1.
