Videogame Mod?

I have an idea. It's pretty rediculous, but i'll bring it up anyway. The idea is to make a mod based on videogames and computer games. I'm not a Videogame expert, and I can't mod at all, so I'll need alot of help. These are the civs suggested so far. But I think I have the catagories down:

Arcade Empires:
Pac-man Empire

PC Empires:
Fraxis Empire
SimCity Empire

Nintendo Empires:
Super Mario Empire
Zelda Empire

Sony Empires:
Final Fantasy Empire

Sega Empires:
Sonic Empire

Microsoft Empires:
Halo Empire

Make Suggestions for what could be put down and where it should be. If you think it's as rediculous as I do, don't worry. I won't get annoyed. I'm just going to update this post.

Do you mean as a competion between the diffrent companies as in real-life conflict style, or a conflict between diffrent races from the video games? Both sounds particulary crazy and intressting.

That depends on how you look at it. My idea is that you start out as a perticular "race." However, the diffrent companies would be like religions. So, it would be possible for a Ninendo character to support Sony. I'll add some example civilizations.

As for Atari and Capcom, I'll put you in charge of that. If you want to, that is.

A good empire for Sega would be Sonic the Hedgehog. And maybe Final Fantasy 7-12 for Sony.

What would troops be? Representative characters of their respective companies? I.E. Zelda and Mario for Nintendo, Sonic for Sega?

I think Goverments should also be customized.
But that's just what I think..

I'll give you examples with two I know well

Pac-Man Empire:
Orange Ghost
Blue Ghost
Pink Ghost
Red Ghost

Super Mario Empire:
Koopa troopa
Shy guy
Pirahna plant
Hammer Bro.

Characters like Mario and Sonic would be leaders.

this sounds pretty cool. do you have AIM or any other messenger? I've never modded civ before but this sounds like a cool project to start with.

A Zelda Empire is already on the list.

I'll change the name of Civilization Empire to Fraxis Empire.

Thanks for your help. One thing, you may want to check this thread often. There's still not enough civ's to make a good mod with yet.

I dont know how to do any coding or anything so I'll throw some ideas out there. Maybe for the Microsoft empire you could make Halo or perhaps the KOTOR series but that might be to much like the star wars mod.

Also as someone said earlier for sony to do a final fantasy empire.

All right! We now have at least 1 civ for each group. Does anyone think they can make an Alpha version out of this? Should we wait for more suggestions?
