view new post option disabled?

ok, maybe this has been for a long time, and I just noticed now, please just tell me if it so (then why is the option still available...)

I tried to use the options view new posts and active threads(on the main page), on both I got the ÿou're not authorized to ..." message, anyone know what is going on?

That's tied into the search function. If the search isn't working, neither is that.

ok... thx turner... maybe there should be a note about it, or just remove the buttons untill the search is eventually reinstated
