The new font is just a thing of buety, great work.

Another thing, maybe you should remove all the empty techs of later eras, to orgenize the tree.

When you can, i would be very happy if you can forward the upt code in the file.

I downloaded and installed the Mod okay, but when I try to launch it, either with the batch file or from within Civ IV, I get a few python errors and it never launches. Am I doing something wrong? Any help is appreciated.

Have you updated BtS to 3.19?
Also, its for PC only unfortunately, as the dll edits wont work on Macs.

Tailor (city building) is in tech tree, but can't be built (also shows no cost in Civilopedia), so textile resources can't receive extra +:c5happy: and +%:commerce: like other luxuries.
Also Carthage UB requires compass, while harbor is available much earlier.

Hello, I just started playing the mod and I got a question about the healing rate? My archer and swordsman has been sitting in the city fortified at 0.4 and 0.5 health for last 3 turns and haven't healed at all. I even created other units with medic promotion and that didn't help either.

Has the way healing is done changed in this mod?

Edit: Ah i found out healing cost gold in this mod. I'm perpetually at 0 in this mod. Everything seems to take out gold and cities are alot more exp.

Really enjoying the mod. Just wiped out Vikings and at 1480 a.d. with no crashes or memory (MAF) errors. Had to give up invictis cause i couldn't ever get to a.d. without it starting to crash every couple turns with out of memory.

Is the cities starting with no workable plots suppose to be like that? The inhabitants of every city i take kill themselves down to 1 pop by the time I get to work any plots in 5 turns and that's only because I built the wonder that gave me a monument in every city.

Another thing I've been wondering about. I get that message saying the Citizen's of one of my cities rightfully ask to join another empire from the start of the game. Even my capital and I have no contact with those nations and they on a different continent. The leaderboard popup even says I'm #1 in culture so not sure what's going on.

Spread Culture, Inluence, Artists specialists.
Then it will most likely take 1 turn to pop first circle (depending on gamespeed) and a couple more for the full BigFatCross.
You can also (iirc) spread culture via a spy before capturing the city to get to 0 turns before border expansion.

Ah ok. Do you know what could be causing the constant messages of my cities wanting to join other empires on different continents I haven't even met ? Even my capital pops up and it's #1 in culture I think. Happens almost every turn.

Its a combination of things that results in this (I havent experienced it myself as I havent played a game from beginning in v1.2)
1) Civs starts without a Palace (capital)
2) I changed the "can give city" to include cities on "homeland", ie cities that is on same continent as city with Palace.

I'll try to find the code that makes the pop-ups and make it sure to check if (a) civ asked (the player) have a capital or not and (b) the frequency of these requests are reduced drastically.

I think that's it.. My first city didn't have a palace capital cause I couldn't work any zones till I built a monument to get me to 5. I even looked on web for answer and I noticed the notes for this version said that was fixed but I don't think it is.

That's why cities have been so super expensive to make. No capital to distance it from. No wonder I had no money all the time :) I went into world builder and place a palace in my first city and my gold went from +4 to +77!

Edit:

Oh that was intentional to remove all the capitals from every starting city? I was suppose to build the Palace? I just started over and check and every nation didn't have one.

Also on the VIP1_Earth2_NWStarts map template 3 nations started on 1 tile that was surrounded by water on all sides.
 
The Palace requires Masonry tech. Just tested and it works as intended :

Ok, wasn't thinking about having to build the palace. That will take care of the joining messages too.

Here is something else. Camps are required for aligator but I can't build them on the swamp where the alligator is.

yeah, forgot about that one. iirc its when there is a swamp on wetlands with a gator on.

Do you ever get game crashes during AI turns? Twice now the AI turns crash when another AI is attacking a city of another. First time I went into world builder and gave the city to the other AI and it seemed fine for a couple turns then started crashing again so I razed the city and crashes went away.

At 1425 a.d. now another AI is attacking a city and they both have huge stacks so I doubt he's conquering it on that turn but it crashes with Aztecs turn doing the attacking. If I make them declare peace the crash is gone. This one was worse cause for some reason like my last 10 saves before that save all started crashing on there next turn even though they were fine up to the point of me saving / quitting game for the night and reloaded next day and they were all crashing.

I had another crash where my neighbor declared war on me and turns would crash every time after that. I reloaded before the war started and luckily when he declared again the crashes were gone.
 
Sounds like you need to clear your cache RJ. Next time you start up Civ, hold down the shift key in order to clear it.

Crash to desktop? Or "waiting for civ" bug?
A savegame would be most welcome. Also the logs if possible.

I dont personally get crashes, except for if I alt tab switch out of game and do something else for a couple of hours and then alt tab back in
