Virtual Earth games with real-life simulation

Virtual games with real-life simulation, with an Earth map, with all aspects you could find in an online game, like social interaction, war, business and active economy, are there any?

Because a game like this would totally rock.

But needs to be a continuous world, with only one version, like a mixture of RuneScape with eRepublik (if you don't know them Wikipediate them), or something.

EVE Online in the closest, it is entirely player driven.

However, people always form big alliances which bully everyone else around and ruins their fun in these kinds of mmo-strat(ish) games.

eRepublik is prolly the closest you'll be able to find. Although I do find it ridiculous that Hungary, a landlocked country, invaded Canada.
