Dont know if I can get an answer after this long but Im trying to change one setting in the visa mod ini files you set up. I found the 2 ini tweak files and was trying to set the civ distance moddifier to 3 from 2. I change the number from 2 to 3 and try to save and it prompts me to C:\program files(x86)\firaxis games\Sis meier Civilization\.

It then says cant create file make sure path or file name is correct? For some reason it doesnt accept the file Im prompted with? Any help on this would be greatly appreciated.

I am not sure I understand this, but all you have to do is open the file in Notepad and save it....not rename the file or save somewhere else.

Thx for the help! Exactly,the notepad isnt letting me save the file when I change a number, keeps saying make sure path/file name is correct? I havnt changed any file names.

Guess you need to check and make sure the file isn't read only...other than that I have no idea.

I am confused by the ini settings here:

"Change this value to false if army bases should be disabled from the mod. If
; set to false then land units will not be able to be trained.
; Default value is true
Enable Army Base = true

; Change this value to false if navy bases should be disabled from the mod. If
; set to false then sea units will not be able to be trained.
; Default value is true
Enable Navy Base = true

Enable Airforce Base = false"

Note that the Airforce Base defaults and discrption are different than the other two.

Any thoughts?

Hum looks like we missed that good catch. Basically by default all 3 bases are enabled, to to turn them off change the true/false to its counterpart. False/true.
