New idea. Rename "We Love the King Day" to "We Love the Ruler (or Leader) Day" or "Ruler (or Leader) Day", or "Government Day", or "Celebration" (civ 7), or something like that. The whole problem is that King = Monarchy. It is obvious that governmental systems are not limited to monarchy alone. At the very least, there are still republics. In them, the head of state can be a President or Prime Minister. There are also tribal chiefdoms, where the head of state is a Chief.
This issue is relevant for various mods where the creator wants to add WLTKD-specific bonuses, but the state/ruler itself is non/anti-monarchical. They have to either abandon the WLTKD-specific bonuses or rename the WLTKD (I myself, for example, don’t know how to do this
), or leave it as is, but this seems illogical. The same applies to mods that add various governments. If a bonus is desired related to the WLTKD mechanics, but the government name is not related to monarchy, the situation becomes confusing.
Therefore, the idea involves replacing the word "King" with the word "Ruler (or Leader)", which has a politically neutral character.
