The solution would appear to be getting Sal and Rammy into war. Wang appears to be the key via Ragnar. Ragnar is down steam. Louis is even with us on techs.

I don't undestand myself sometimes.

I'm not saying that we should go to war with one. I'm saying Ramses is getting too powerful and needs to be taken down a notch.

IIRC, Wang is a vassal of Ramses. Doesn't the overlord have to go to war if the vassal is attacked?

Sure Ragnar will prolly come begging for help after he gets hit by Ramses, but we can always say "no, sorry have to wash hair tonight"

if i've reasoned this out correctly, we take a -1 from wang for bringing in a war ally (even though we won't be at war with wang) and a -1 for refusing to help ragnar when he gets run over.

I did the deal and Ramses is now at war with Ragnar. I spent the turns railing and spreading hinduism. We need to keep spreading it to our vassals. Combustion finished, then assembly line finished. I decided we need tanks. so we're on the path to industrialism. Factories are being started as builds finish. Ragnar has done suprisingly well against Ramses, he's only lost Birka so far. There's a great scientist in Washington. I couldn't see burning him on Physics. Oil is hooked up and we have one destroyer.
