Vulcans Try, Try Again

I never knew there was a Star Trek mod!
On a side note, I see you joined in 2002; quite impressive.

Neither did I until now, when I just searched for it.
Civ4 - Star Trek Mod

No mod; Simply set the Settings to:
Pangaea map, Arid climate, and Low sea level; Hopefully getting a decent desert planet.
For Surak, I went for a Philosophical and Creative leader; Hence choosing Pericles.
Keeping with the desert theme, I picked the Arabs.

Wow, That long!?
I don't post very often; Mostly I just read AARs/stories
Personal Favorites:
Pax Romana Civ III
Princes of the Universe Civ IV

2200 BC:
Animals are proving more dangerous then expected.
My wandering warriors was killed by a second pride of lions, while the Vulcan Scouts held off other animal attacks.

The Vulcans are way behind in Civics and tech.

2080 BC
Vulcans discover Bronze Making, and switch Tribal labor to Slavery.

A Bronze deposit is a long ways away, and closer to the Greek border.Sending a settler, along with a warrior, out that way would be a bit challenging.

2040 BC
Vulcans send settlers and warriors to the future site of Mount Seleya. Further west is that bronze deposit. Push the group on ward to grab it, or settle sooner?
Researching Iron Working may or may not make up for the only currently known bronze deposit.

Dorothy Scouts beat off two packs of wolves on the icy hills far to the south-west. Hopefully, they have enough time to heal before another pack shows up.

1960 BC
Mount Seleya is founded. Construction of Stonehenge immediately started.

1920 BC
Vulcana Regar builds Barracks, Warriors and Settlers; Barracks was rushed.

Vulcans are in last place in terms of technology. Writing and Alphabet are the next likely techs to be researched in an effort to catch up.

Isn't looking too good for the Vulcans right now :p

They have probably been sent from the Andorians.

They probably also supported the construction of Stonehenge in a distant land.

1840 BC
Vulcans meet the Spanish near the Aztec border.
Mount Seleya switches construction to monument after receiving a refund for losing Stonehenge.

Dorothy the Scout kills yet another Lion.
They certainly aren't cowards. :king:

Back, and still lost and confused.

Vulcans are way behind, hopefully writing and a new settlement will help them catch up.
