hmm.. cloth is hard to animate, but i think i can pull it off :) currently it is the same size as the other rhino.

After this shoota, I've run into a weird situation (since the canadian government has been quite quiet for a couple of days): I have nothing to do! (unit-wise).

So, any suggestions? or should I do some more orks?
There are some that goldflash wanted though... :
Goldflash said:
- Grotz: A bunch of Grotz and an Ork slaver. This is the worker unit. The Grotz should have tools and Grot Blastas, The Slaver a Grabba stick and a slugga. In the fidget one of the little grotz should try t run away only to get snagged by the grabba stick.
- Trakka: The Scout unit for Expansionist Ork Civs. A Rugged looking ork with scant armor, a back pack, a slugga, and a squighound on a chain. (Something like this but bigger and walking on the ground).
- WAAAAAGH Warband: Several orks armed as you pleased... but one must have a bosspole.

Redone TGA Units:
- Freebooter: My favorite of the original TGA units... I'd like you to keep it pretty true to the original.

Unique Units:
- Loota: The Death skullz UU. He should have Blue (or Civ color) war paint and an imperial heavy bolter or somesuch. but how he looks should other wise be up to you..
- Wierdboy: This is a psykik ork. I only have two stipulations: His head explodes on death and he has a psykik looking attack. Otherwise, go crazy. He is the replacement for the head exploding dude you made for me for the Snakebitez.

King Units: All king units should be larger than their subordinates:
- Boss Badmor: The Snakebitez King unit.. a Big, muscley pskik ork with the exploding head and psykik attack, bit maybe some normal weapons, too.
- Warchief Grubnar: Blood Axe Kingy.. He also should be stealthy looking, like the kommando, but should have a boss pole.
- Warlord Nazgitz: Some armor, but his main thing is a HUGE gun. Huge, tricked out.. a True Bad Moon!

I have a few ideas - new orcs and gobbos for WH - Orcs and gobbos (regular), and the Gobbo civ could become the Night Gobbos.

Also, for the 40k mod, you cold make just about any unit found at the 40k site that you like, we will use it :)

Also, a beaver worker might make some people happy..

Don`t ask for work if you ain`t ready to take some!

Ooo! And an Ogre civ would be nice :mischief:

Ok, I won't. :p
And of those requested by Goldflash, the grotz team and waagh warband are my very-very-least favourite units for me to make. Have you any idea how many lines of file one single humanoid unit has? Now, multiply that by the number of humanoids you have. Ok, now that's not even closely enough of work to make that unit, because you cannot use the same animation on each and every guy, so you basically have to do that many units as there are humanoids... all in one big single file. Which is quite enough to explode ones head... like a wierdboy...

i've started practising run animations and this is what i have as a base so far:

You've got a posing model in a running pose - not much of an animation yet ;) :p

It looks a bit like a sprinter... maybe he shouldn't lean that much forward - especially so if it's going to be some sort of space-marine power-armour unit... :)

What program do you use, Quinzy?

well actually thats just a frame from the animation ;) i made it by studying someone run frame by frame and copting the positioning.

i use bryce, which is difficult at best to get biological animations.as for the sprint, well, i may try another run, but at civ scale this doesn't look too bad. if it does look bad then i'll keep trying :)

**EDIT** the attached run avi. media player can open it.

Yep it does not look bad, if the unit you're making is a skimpy-clad athletic warrior. But if it's a clunky power-suit (or even worse - an ork), that would look a bit silly, don't you think ;) ?

And doubly so, if it's carrying some sort of weapon (he/she would just propably plant his/her face  ).

well its actaullty just a base "stick man" that i can glue stuff to, but now that you mention it, i think i will make it an eldar! cheers!
