Warhammer Fantasy Mod 2.1

either that or they were really big handsom orcs in disguise waiting to overthrow thier oppressive empire...

I think their horses` broken backbones (orks are huge mothers ;)) would give them away if that was the case :)

Now guys, seriously, I tried going back on topic with that bug thingy, cause I don`t want mrtn and the rest to get pissed off :)

About the knights issue:
As long as you have the eventually necessary resources available conquered unitproducing wonders will keep on churning out units. As far as I know there is no easy way to stop this. I discussed teh issue with mrtn, because I think it's a bit inappropriate. One possible solution that I can't remember if mrtn sneered at, is making all wonderproduced units require a certain resource which is only visible with a pregiven technology (like Dwarven ingenuity for example). I think that this would cause the wonder to stop producing unsuitable units, but I guess it could get a bit messy.

I'll make the knightly wonders go obsolete with Chaos.

I won't add the Beheader as a king unit, seeing as I'll add it as an ordinary unit. I'll move the Hammerer to Military Training, and make it 7/4/1, and I'll add the Beheader as the 6/4/1 unit at Smithing, and call it Clan Warrior. If anyone has a better idea for the unit name I'm all ears.

:king:

clansman, or maybe battlesmith (going with the whole all-dwarves-are-great-at-smithing thing, so its like he made his own axe)?

There already is a clansman in the mod. ;)

I prefer Clan Warrior over battlesmith.

BTW, you can equip your clansmen with great (i e two handed) weapons according to the new dwarf armybook for WHFB.

Heyheyhey, is that a new patch I see lined up against the horizon..? :D

I don't know if this has been reported or not, but the Unit folder for the Harad swordsman is missing, and caused the game to crash on me (after giving the missing file pop-up)... Fortunately I knew that the Harad swordsman was made by UtahJazz7, so I just downloaded it and went back to my awesome dwarves kicking the living culture out of everyone else, but you might want to make sure that it's included in any future patches.

it was noted. make sure the oscan rider is put in too, as this will cause a later crash if left out.

Every time I go on a ruin its a Skaven ambush 100% even if my city expands onto a ruin its an ambush. Is this correct?

I just started this mod and reading this last page it sounds like there are some files I will need to keep this from crashing? Where can I find them this mod looks great.

Is there any way to lower the rez of the game or zoom in more. Its been a long time since I played CIV III been playing CIV IV lately but there are relativly few mods.

Thanks, guess I could read all 44 pages :P

No, tried it with the Seafaring elves and the chaos dwarves on Monarch level
normal agressive and roaming barbarians.

Any other thoughts would be appreciated... Last civ III problem I had was something that simple :)

It could be a case of some bad luck :) Those rats can get pretty nasty

PS: I`ve just played the WH version of Battlefield Asia:
Araby, Cathay, Nippon, Ungols, Gobbos and Ind (me). It was loads of fun, I got a random continent looking just like Asia, even civ placement was correct `cept for Nippon who ended up in "Pakistan". I alied with Araby, and their pirates ruled the eastern shores, while I was kicking Cathay`s butt with my corsairs! I love them, don`t ever, ever kick them out, even if someone makes a decent Indic Archer, please?

20 for 20 ish can't be that bad of luck I have never recieved anything but Skaven...

On archers 5(3) what do the numbers mean I would have to dig through a very old file cabinet to find my book. Attack and Defense I presume.
