Warhammer Fantasy Mod 2.1

Well, the goal is to include everything from the start, so we needn't make a patch after two hours...
We will release 2.5 in a new thread, as people seem too lazy/bewildered to read this long one.

Just noticed that worker still has the option of building an airfield ... can this be rectified or is it hardwired?

EDIT ... I tested it and it creates a blue cystaline structure.

EDIT 2 ... after checking in pedia ... it is a Spell Tower, used to store spells
However, can the text in the worker action be changed is the question .

I did that and it screwed up my Civ install. After I installed the basic mod and all the patches I fired up the Editor to have a look at the biq and I received this error:

ERROR: could not open file for reading.

followed by this error:

ERROR: could not open file: Art\Terrain\landmark_terrain.pcx. Check to make sure the editor is run from the folder where Civilisation III was installed.

I'm trying to fix it right now. To be honest I don't like these exes that autoinstall scenarios - half the time you don't know where the files are going and you don't get warning of overwrites. I was confused when one exe said it would install to the Conquests folder and another exe installed to Conquests\Scenarios and then there was one that installed to c:\Games...

You need to install five files in this order:

WH Mod 2.0

2.02 Patch

WH 2.11

WH 2.20

and

forgotten Resources.zip

I'm not sure, but we talked with mrtn, and thought of compiling the patches 2.02, 2.11, 2.20 and resources in the upcoming patch 2.5... but we are definitely going to reduce the number of files you people have to download.

About installing them, you'll have to make sure, that all the mod files are installed to the civilizationIII/Conquests/Scenarios/WH2 -folder (except for the leaderhead animations, which should automatically go to the civilizationIII/Conquests/Net Art -folder).

Another Question

Playing Khemri and going for Domination Quest (F-10 Screen ... discovering the 10 great artifacts)

Anyway to gain intel on the other civ's progress, I am told I must first plant a spy ... unfortunately this cannot be done ... or I am not doing it properly.

Therefore ... is there a way to plant spies or is this unavailable for Khemri ??

Hi here are two (minor) things I d like to see in the next patch:
1. A civipedia link to the unique units/buildings in the descriptions window for the different races.
2. Fix the "Maximum hypertext links exceeded!" problem in certain civipedia entries, for instance Iron.

Awesome mod, keep up the good work!

I don't think it can be fixed.

Hi, I'm new here, and totally like the idea of this mod! I coulden't wait playing this until I noticed you had to have conquest to play this. I bought civ3 gold edition on the net... Does this mean there is no way I can play this mod? Or is it still playable, but with some bugs? If Civ3 cocnquest is needed, is there a way to download it, or to upgrade my version? (NO, i'm not asking for an illegal download, just a legal one where i can buy civ 3 conq, or any other means which i can use to play this mod)
Please help me out!

That's not the WH team's fault, but an engine issue.

Not blaming anyone, just hoping it could get fixed.
Either way, i cant wait to dl the new version! :)

Ya Will I thought Gold only game with Play the world, but mybe thats the Game of the Year edition. I know Complete has both but the best thing is it comes in a very cool box. It looks like a steel vault and has a big instruction manual for noobs. The day It finnaly came in the mail I was like, Ooohhh my god! its sooo shiny!!! Sure beat the vannila version I scooped for free of the net :mischief: I even give the box a lil' polish once in a while so to keep its luster :crazyeye:

... Right... Well... Hmm...

Oh sh#t! looks like me went kokoo again. Darn I was doing so well to :( Myself and many others might call this desecrating sacred grounds, but don't worry bout any more of these strange outbursts, the doc renewed my script! :crazyeye:

that being said,(joke) I was wondering, if it is true, that the gold edition was released with both expansions paks. Why then release Civ Complete? .
Could it be? mybe it was the "shiny box trick" . If so, Im not the only CivFanatic they must of figured was going "Civ" 's
excuse offtopicness, but it kinda pertains to Fregglez question. thanks in advance
