Warhammer fantasy units/graphics preview/development thread

Nice feeling of force in that animation. Great stuff.

Creek Creek Creek... FWOOOSH! ....... CRAAAAAASH!

Darn... I bought the White Dwarf #302... there's a battle report including the new ogre kingdoms and, now they seem to catch my interest :D

especially the concept of "gut magic" - we'll see, we'll see ;)

Here's a working preview of Ungor - a member of the beasts-of-chaos beast herd.

Question:
- how's the 'fur' colour (my monitor has done some optical illusions sometimes)?

[EDIT]: Image changed to show the unit on gray background too.

I think it looks fine, however, it is kinda hard to tell on a pink background.

EDIT: Yup. Looks good.

Looks good, including the fur color. He's considerably bulkier than Beastmen, but I believe that's intentional.

Fur color looks fine. Though I'd suggest using a darker color for the Bestigor, if you make that unit.

Also, I did some research on the Snotling Pumpwagon. It ramms the enemy or has a roller with spikes (like the dwarven Deathroller). It moves by two snotlings pumping up and down on a.. thing...

Wow ED will never get time to release the next version when you keep making units:p

It's great work ofcause:goodjob:

It's not that he's making so many units, it's that now he's started on the Beasts of Chaos, so we're going to have to have a whole bunch of 'em made up and added to the mod now :D

Okay, here is a model v1.0 of Bestigor

If you want to know what they look like in warhammer world, please do an image google search on word "bestigor", it'll give you a few hits.

Suggestions & comments & questions are welcome :)

Whoohoo!!!!

Looks very good to me, and accurate too :)

Here is a picture of one;

Looks great, the hood is my only problem. I'd open it up so that the face is completely visible and take away the civ-color. How about a black hood?

It doesn't look bad as it is, but the civ-color hood is IMO a little awkward.

But but but but! The Hood is Civ-color on the model!
