Thanks for the input, Alan. I had a feeling Parallels would be the way to go, but I just wanted to throw out some other options. Thanks esp. for reminding me building PCs isn't worth much. I guess I figured I learn a bit more about hardware, but that probably isn't worth the money.
I'm rather curious as to how cross compatible programs can be between Mac OS and Windows. I think that C/C++ would generally be the best route as far as the code, but I've no idea on the best framework(s) that could be used without the need to recompile. (If possible.) Also, do you know about how long/difficult it is to use, say, an average third party app with multiple frameworks? I like Cocoa, so the prospect of Objective C++ is interesting to me. (I've never made anything worthwhile, obviously.
)
As far as 3D Animation goes, I know that most professional Video/CG editing is done on Macs, but again I'm interested in cross compatibility and furthermore application to video games. I'm interested in a large amount of the Computer Graphics field, but I think the thing I know the least about is Animation.
I also have a few questions on Parallels. Can you buy a license and download Parallels? And if you can (which I would guess is true) can I easily transfer my license to my new computer? I guess I just want to know if I could run into any problems if I decide to get Parallels now and later transfer it to the Macbook.
Thanks for helping answer my endless bombardment of questions, even if some of them are are pretty stupid! (I like to think in writing, and somehow I twist my thoughts into questions.

I might have to purchase Parallels then, although if I buy online I'll need to wait until the bank lets me get a Check Card.
, a mysticism.
