[WARLORDS] ViSa Expansion Pack 3

Another bombardment problem here: none of my siege units can bombard at all. The option doesn't even exist for them. I'm quite enjoying the mod apart from this problem. Has anyone else experienced this?

@litlfrog, go into custom game screen and enable bombardment.
1. start mod
2. single player
3. custom game
4. under options make sure bombardment is X'ed and whatever else options you want

You only need to do this once because warlords remembers your settings.
 
About MAF problems -

I'm using for quite some time "O&O CleverCache Professional Edition", it helped a lot while working with video editing programs, I've tried using it with VISA 3.1
(Normally I don't allow it to autostart) and I've managed to complete 2 games without MAF.

So it seems that changing the cache management profile either way does help.
 
well, it keeps telling me i should update to the new version of warlords 2.08 - even makes that patch only a click away - problem is, I already have the new warlords patch installed.... so... in order to go further - where can I download a zip (rar, etc.) version so that I can install it myself - or - what do you think it might be looking for and not finding (reg key? - perhaps something to do with having a direct2drive version of civ)..... well, also, I should mention while I'm posting this, that I've really been enjoying the visa mod - good show to all who worked on it.
 
I gotta say, I'm loving the mod.

I'm hoping for more updates after the next expansion.

Many thanks to the over 7,000 downloaders in 2.5 months!!!!!

We are running out of time for a v3.20 patch before BTS.....ViSa will move to v4.00 when BTS is released, which will be a totally independent mod so people not getting BTS will still have v3.20 or v3.10

Love the MOD...a couple of suggestions that I'm not even sure could be implemented:

If you lose a supply of a required resource (i.e. rubber for artillery or horses for horse archers)...all units that require that resource incur small amounts of damage per turn and do not heal as quickly. To represent the fact that you no longer have the item to replenish those units as they go through their normal wear and tear

A couple additional National Wonders-Horse Farm would supply 1 horse...must have horses to build...Strategic Petroleum Reserve-similarly would provide oil for "X" turns if you lost your supply

Y'all did a great job with this MOD. Keep up the good work...nice to see the fix on spys stealing tech in the up coming update.
 
@Gypsy1220, thanks glad you like the mod. Those are some interesting ideas. I personally like more national wonders. It adds flavor. Thanks for playing our mod.

Im enjoying this mod quite a bit but have noticed a couple bugs. One is the memory allocation error that appears every 3 loads, but I remember seeing a thread on what to do about that.
A more annoying one is every so often during a game the AI's units will just disappear, Every single one. Even if I goto the editor and give them a heap of units they disappear next turn.

Also I cant get the world map to load. It says Ive died before I even start

The map has been updated by rockinroger.....as posted in our Dev Forum.

I have never seen or heard of units disappearing except from lack of funds....
 
Any plans to fix up the 3.10 patch as it is pretty well non-installable for a guy like me. Can't even get to the installer download because of your anti-firefox web page.

I have no idea what you are talking about....we use CIVFANATICS to download the Expansion Pack....:confused:

And yes a hacker took over the main ViSa site, but that has nothing to do with the patch or v3.10 or v3.00 or the upcoming v3.20
