But it does not work so easily, the US Government needed something truly or humongous scale to launch their latest wave of Military backed Imperialist attacks. Truly a New Pearl Harbour.

Besides, why would we dock HALF OUR BLOODY NAVY in Pearl Harbor if we were going to let it get bombed? Why not a ship here and there? Pre-emptive attack alone would have been more than enough to use as a Casus Belli.

Oh, and we all know how efficient and perfect our government is when it wants to hide something. Remember, we could not even hide our Iraq troop movements. I severely doubt the gov. could ever hide an operation the size of 9/11, and if it was uncovered...well, let's just say a Republican would not be elected for another 100 years. Not worth the risk just to invade some random countries...oh wait, but Bush REALLY wanted those Afghan opium imports I'm sure. If he was going to link it to Iraq, why not just do it first?

Islamic terrorism does exist, it is a threat. Iraq is a debateable debacle, but the threat of Islamic terrorism is not debateable.

I'm not trying to be rude, I just need to see more than baseless claims. They are not even theories in the true sense of the word.

I don't feel like typing much about it but I'll just give you a little:

1. Bush and other screwballs in his administration were given warnings about the attacks.
2. Some FBI agents were aware of Muslims taking flight classes. An FBI agent became concerned about it and alerted his superiors but they did nothing. I might have FBI confused with CIA.
3. I have heard that at one of the flight schools, one of the hijackers actually said he wanted to know how to fly the plane but didn't need to know how to land or take off. That one could be false, but I don't know.

So there were warnings of possible danger, but no action. That's incompetence. Apparently I spelled incompetence wrong in my previous post.

OOhh, that is really vital information that will help us prevent it. The US is pretty damn BIG and it would help if we knew how they were going to attack. Some other report said they would attack in the summer or fall. So we were supposed to shut down the airlines for 6 months? Some people act like the intelligence angencies only sees one report every few months. They probably get dozens or hundreds every day. Of course it is so easy to go back after the events and say "You should have paid more attention to this one!"

That is true. Or it is at least true that he didn't want to spend much time practicing the landings when on the flight simulator.

I'm trying to research exactly how much of this was told to the gov. and how long before the attacks, but it appears agents were visiting these flight schools only one or two weeks before the attacks. Not necessarily enough time if there isn't enough evidence of real threat.

Moussaoui was obvious about it when he asked how to turn off the oxygen in the passenger cabin and how to turn off the transponder, so he was arrested quickly.

Sure, Muslims can. But there was something odd about the situation that made FBI agents take notice. I don't remember. Like many of them at once or something. I don't feel like looking any of this up.
