Websites just don't work! ARGH!

Try Start->Run->cmd-> ipconfig /flushdns
Tried that, result was
Command Prompt said:
C:\Users\David>ipconfig /flushdns
The requested operation requires elevation.


Till said:
now try doing a tracert on those same websites. maybe you can pinpoint where stuff is breaking.
Same place, in cmd.
Copy-Paste the results back here.
did that, result was

(For some reason It cmd wouldn't let me copy/paste again).

You need to run the Command Prompt as admin. There should be a shortcut to it somewhere in the start menu; right click on it and pick "Run as administrator". Then try ipconfig /flushdns again.

I did that, the result was

Command Prompt said:
Windows IP Configuration
Successfully flushed the DNS Resolver Cache.
