Hello, everyone!!!

As I have just finished working in my Internet World Wonder I decided to join into the Civ community and this site seemed really good to me. I've been around Civilization since CivI and really enjoyed every Civ game released up to the date.

Who knows? Perhaps I even could learn how to mod Civ4 (I only modded Civ2).

I am new to CIV IV but not the earlier versions...I am unable to save games...I keep getting a no file name message...any advice?

cant get civ advances in tot so i got civIII.(alpha centauri)i found civ III difficult,in fact i gave up.civ Iv is a nice game cant see how it is possible in anything above noble though.:S

Truely I have no idea as to what I'm doing, as I write this message.
I just bought civ 4 and I was interested in finding out whether or not there is a patch coming out for players wishing to play civ4 on vista.

Haven't played Civ since Civ I on the Mac more than a decade ago but decided to give it a try again when I was bedbound due to illness (yes I got better!).
Currently trying to get a Warlords win on Prince setting but I won't give up!

Hey Folks,

I guess I'm a young'un here (only 18). Started with Civ II...must have been preteen back then. I've been a bit Civ-deprived at college since I took a Macbook to school (big fan, besides the game incompatability), but getting back into it for the summer. I've always been a micromanaging passive builder, but I've been emboldened by the forum ideas here to take a more aggressive approach, especially as I try my hand at the higher levels. I'm also starting with Game of the Month, just to provide a forum to compare gameplay...excited for GOTM XX, just barely gotten my feet wet.

Well, well...

BTS is just a few days away and so it comes that I post for the first time. I've been visiting this site since I've got Civ4 and have played many mods from this site. And in the end I started modding myself and so I got even more respect of the work which some mods have made.
What I want to say with this is simply thank you.

Oh, and if anybody has an intrrest in who I am, what I doubt:
I'm a 17 year old Austrian (viva l'Austria!)

Have Civ3Complete, played 10 games, looked for on-line forum, been lurking for several weeks. Great site! Am quite impressed with the amount of thought, effort, and. . . obssessiveness I see here

Haven't had so much fun with a computer game since the PanzerGeneral days & before that, pzk or Empire on the old, old, old PLATO IV system at Shampoo-Banana (for those of you with equally long memories!). Heck, haven't had so much fun at any game except when throwing stones on the Go-ban, going for a big moyo. . . .

Will have some questions, but have to retrieve things from home first at some point--later!

Been following this site for a while, just signed up today. Been playing since Civ1. My interest has gone back and forth, but I must say the ALC threads really sparked an interest. Plan to maybe do some shadow games and look into the GOM as well.

Hi!

I visit this site from time to time, to grab some info about civ 4, fall from heaven mod. I am not a dedicated player of civ though, switching games back and forth (simcity, civ 4, neverwinter, heroes of might and magic V, starcraft, battle for middle earth... etc...).

But right now, I am playing intensely this mod, Fall from Heaven, and it is so good, I have no interest to switch back to warlords right now! I decided to add my little 2 cents here and there.
