This being said, I always kind of liked the tendency of S&Ts' folks to start random off-topic discussions between updates. Its part of the inspiration behind RandomLand.

I would not worry too much about a mod closing the thread at this point.
When it happened for Ninjacow's story, the thread had accumulated like 12 pages of spam and there was multiple official warnings before it was closed
