Hmm... It works that way for me? I capture a goblin city, and it takes say, 17 turns to build the Immortal of Hashut. I capture the next city, which happens to be Gunbad in the next 2 turns, and the 1st city`s production increases, and I`ll now get the unit in 5 turns.. I`ve seen it happen on many occasions. Maybe its cos of the Regent difficulty? :confused:
 
No, it doesn't work that way. The revolts just propably end in the city you conquered earlier - or something other. Capturing the enemy capitals do not help you at all in fighting the corruption & waste.
 
Playing a challenging game with Westerland at the moment. no screenies, but i have not been able to pull off a good invasion yet, except for norsca.

estalia in the north are probably the easiest, but the gobbos to the west have just declared war and have sent quite a few warg riders towards my closest city.

luckily, i control the "land bridge" that seperates the two land masses, so as long as those cities hold...

i knocked out the lahmians and the amazons before either had built a second city, which gave me lots of land to expand into. also, estalia and i are the only "old world" races, and i built all the knightly orders, which is helpful to say the least :)

ind is the other superpower, and they have taken over their continent, destroying the chaos dwarfs and araby. remaining races are: westerland, estalia, gobbos, slann, norse, cathay, ind

i lead in points, culture, population and land area, but everyone hates me :(

Heh, that doesn't sound like a "challenging" game. ;)

I'm playing a Hordes of Chaos game atm, looking forward to see the chaos halberdiers soon. Reikland has been very agressive, they have attacked me three times, but now I'm smashing them, just conquered the Great Bazaar. :)
 
Playing a pretty challenging game as the Gobbos. Huge map, continents, full stack of enemies. The Waaagh is rolling now, I've taken out the Chaos Dwarves, Tileans, Nipponese, Westerlanders, Kislevites and I should be able to tie this together, but it took some sly manouvering to get there. Disabled Cultural victory, gonna try to go for Conquest. My armies of Warg Riders are currently taking out the Slann, after which the Reiklanders will fall. So far, so good! The Khemri are my main rivals, and I can only hope I get to them (they're on a different continent) before they get to the Spell of Awakening :)

:lol: i meant challenging in the sense that my neighbours are strong and could easy overrun me if im not careful :sad:

One of the wargs just destroyed an earth elemental, which means that now my defence is down to pikemen :eek: knights of the white wolf and knights of the blazing sun are arriving shortly
 
Wargs were there as an upgrade cause there were no Boar units 2 years ago. Knights of the Blazing Sun are official, with miniatures even.
