"Uncle Cam" huh?
Maybe I'll have to change my user title. ;)

A double-weapon unit (axe & sword) would probably be fun to animate, but I'm not promising anything yet. I'll wait until I'm done with the swordsman before I decide on what's to follow. :D

The guys don`t like it, and I changed my mind after some time, I think a new one matching the swordsman would be best :cool:
:rolleyes:

I like the unit, but it's not an imperial spearman.

bigdog, just because a unit looks great doesn't mean it's got anything to do in this mod. I've been here for four years, you'd have to look hard to find a unit I haven't laid eyes on.
If it doesn't have the 16th century look you don't need to bother with a unit for Reikland, it won't be better than what we already have.

Yup The lizardmen seem to represent the native people of South America/Central and there are tribes of them in The Southlands which is indeed the closest continent you'll find to Africa. There are human nations in the northern end of The Southlands but they are more what we would call middle eastern.

As such the native humans of Africa arent represented as fully as they could be. North America just so happens to be dominated by The Dark Elves so any humans there are either chaos or enslaved.

According to that awesome map that came with the White Dwarf with the Lustria Campaign the only continent without some kind of twisted form in the Warhammer world sadly is Australia.

Some elephant units, lions, anything related to that part of the world. I was thinkig they could be a mostly human civ with few fantasy creatures include. Kind of like a human civ surrounded by hostile forces (Undead, Lizardmen...etc.).

Ok, here I go! Umits for the african-based civ:

Ranged unit/skirmish : - the ethiopian javelineer Plotinus made (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=170608&page=2);

- his african brother (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=170437&page=2);

Cavalry : - the zebra rider Shiro made (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=159656&page=2);

- rider for the II age (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=162608);

Infantry : - a spearman for the first age (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?p=3687866#post3687866);

- the Zulu unique unit;

- the lion warrior (http://forums.civfanatics.com/showthread.php?t=68182&page=2)

That's all for now, I have to go back to work.

Those zulu units by Dom Pedro are excellent! We could use the musketman too.
Also the ethiopian javelineer and the ethiopian horseman could be used for the II era.
I was thinking that it would be best if they didn't have siege weapons.
