...How can I get that ork smilie?
Just quote my post and steal the code. :)

@LMR! - Yeah, that should work. :) Does the diamond shape mean anything?

BTW, I've been thinking about booting the Badlands resource, would that be butchering EDs baby, or just good?

I think that the new beastman should be called Truegor, btw, sounds more elite than Caprigor... Comments?

Serious man ? 50? meg She was a hefty girl when I first saw her,:cooool: Just what I like in a mod!. Back then I was looking for something a little refined but still edgy. Though Im strickly a traditional type player, I saw some of the old Hero's 3 spawning style that reminded me of the first flame with a turn based game. so anyway, I kept my eye on this one. Now with all these new units tantalizing me, their highly rendered graphics flaunting their magnetic Civ appeal, it's to much for a addict to take. Once the patch drops on this beaut I'll be taken her for a spin fursure[pimp] till then, aaglo you keep rolling with this one . later.:smoke:

Boost my memory :old:
Is this the skull in the desert tile?
What is it currently used for? ... a resourse for what and for who?
Or is it a tile that cannot be used by anyone due to it being so polluted?
What would you propose changing it to?
Is there another resourse that the game needs ... and you require the removal in order to replace it?

query bombard ... now over ;)

About the seer/grey seer: should it have those horns or not?
And what would be the magical attack for it (what lore do those grey seers use, and are there any cool spells I could try to depict here)?

@fe3333au,
Badlands is a negative bonus resource, that can be found on desert, floodplains and swamp (IIRC). It just reduces the food and commerce by one.

@mrtn,
I too hate the badlands resource - especially when it's heavily concentrated on certain areas. At first the badlands was a cool novelty in civ3-modding, but now I think it's just a pain in the arse. But luckily it affects only the least-favourite tiles in WH-mod (which raises an interesting question - why make already bad tiles even worse?).
So, I'm in favour of booting the badlands resource (and perhaps introducing the oasis to the deserts ;) - with +2 food and +3 commerce, building near deserts would be desireable :) ).

I kinda like the badlands, they serve their purpose - to describe all kinds of sh!t that goes on in the WH world, if it is within city radius it could be - a band of orks, or beasts, or undead, or a dragon, or plain `uman bandits, or if ya are playing the High Elves its the place of frequent Druchii raids, or any other weird thing local hero`s have to deal with..

The WH world ain`t pretty, its dangerous, and hard to live in, so cities far away from the badlands are the ones that should realy thrive, will others less fortunate have to deal with the stuff mentioned above.... ;)

Just my 2 septims, I`m not dead-set on asking them to stay as they are, I won`t mind if you change it.

That looks a bit 'raggedy' image, when compared to all other images we use in the mod. If someone made that pic digitally (so it was cleaner and not cartoon-like with black outlines), then it would be good. Especially so, if it's games workshop -original drawing.
In fact, I could mess around with that a bit ;)...

Looks great!

Skaven and the BoC are comin`! :woohoo:

- Skaven - a unit-creator would have make a ratman model and create whole unit line... say 5-7 foot units and some skaven war machines... I don't know if it will ever happen.
ED would be proud, you guys. You are doing an amazing job :goodjob:

It wasn't a GW original, i think i found it at a skaven fan's site.

But the new and improved pic looks great!

About the Grey Seer, there are two spells that i have found that would be awesome if animated: Warplightning and Vermintide

Warplightning is obvious - a huge bolt of green tinted lightning flying from the end of the Seer's staff.

Vermintide is a huge swarm of rats summoned by the Seer, so it would be similar to the Bray-Shaman's "magic wood pieces" attack. i imagine the attack as a hole opening in the ground in front of the Seer, then hundreds of rats pouring out of the opening :D

I would suggest that the vermintide be attack A, and the warplightning be attack B, if aaglo is willing to do both of them :)

And i think that the Grey Seers should have horns. it is what distinguishs them from the regular skaven. having horns means being blessed by the Horned Rat :)

Yay, aaglo is back making skaven.

ps. I think he loves skaven now, he just won't admit to it :D;)

One reason that I want to remove the Badlands is that it seems bleeding impossible to get the game to generate a Bear in a swamp tile. There is something weird with the Bear, it's almost as if it was a strat... (i e it is always generated alone, while you see clumps of Peat, for example).
And yes, I've also got tired of it over the years. And yes again, I wanna add the Oasis.

I think that the grey seer should have horns. And it should be grey too, as far as I understand things. ;)
LMRs ideas sounds great, the fidget and/or victory should be the seer taking a huge sniff of warpstone snuff, and then cackling maniacly. :) I can get some cackling sounds from ToT, IIRC.

Golden Age: Which units should give GA for Beastmen and Skaven? Bestigor?

Yeah, I also aggree about getting rid of the badlands (especially since I seem to keep getting them), especially since you canf't irrigate, clear or otherwise improve desert, jungle and swamp tiles to begin with, having a negative resource on an already worthless tile seems like unusability overkill, IMO.

I can't wait until the next update is done.... This is the only mod I actually play for Civ III (aside from playtesting the FF mod).
