What about the Irish/Scottish?

Hi all. I am 20% Irish and 20% scottish (as if it mattered) but I really want to play a game were I can play as my "fathers" have. I have looked and looked and found some very interesting mods but there is almost NEVER Irish men or Scottish men (or women extra, civlizations i mean).

I would like to know if you know of any, thanks in advance.

Someone really should make a British Isles scenario. Pits, Scots, Britains, Angles, Saxons, Jutes, etc.

I think Firaxis offered those of us with Irish or Scottish blood in them the Celts. But I don't think it was enough.

I'd like to see that British Isles Scenario myself aswell, but I'd rather see it with the Medivel Europe Mod rule-set, but with the addition of Wales and Ireland ofcourse. I'm sure there's plenty of high quality Maps of the British Isles in this forum for it.

What do you mean no Scottish representation?? You have a 3D animated era-specific Robert the Bruce leaderhead and a Claymore Highlander unique unit. I don't know what you're complaining about.

The is also an Irish leaderhead(Brian Boru) and UU(Galloglass).

I think you misunderstood me (most of you), I wanted a senaro or a mod based AROUND the scottish/Irish not just having ppl in them. You know what, I will get together with a mod maker friend of mine and I will try to design with him a british isles one as suggested before. Look for the beta thread in 2-3 weeks.

BTW Warlord 101, at the time I was talking about, the Picts were in Scotland and the Scots in Ireland, it was only later that the Scots invaded Scotland, and the Britens were driven into wales, and names the Welche, which meant (in whatever language it was), strangers, by the Normans. Sort of iron, because they were the natives. I can't wait for the mod.

Can anyone please tell me how to load the scots as a civilization. I loaded them correctly ( I thought) and then played the game. When the game finishes...and goes to the high score.... the game crashes...any ideas....

Yes, I undestood that. But I was refering to something set into the Timeline of half-way through a game of MEM.

No. People who don't have PTW or play Civ 3 at all haven't played MEM either.

If you have PTW (The advantage of buying it=everyone has now made mods for it) then download it. It's worth it.
