ok this is really embarrasing to me but i found myself behind in a warlord game!
this is weird cuz i can win on noble.
it was on warlord because i wanted to get more expierence with the game, and also wanted to try out frederick. (havnt played that much games with civ4 yet)
i just really dont know what it is
(note that vicky actually won the game at the end by time victory)
please help!!

You need to irrigate cities until they can support 20 population.

And use at least 1 worker per city.

I concur. You need to let your cities grow!

For example Berlin could have used a lighthouse to make the coastal tiles worthwhile, at the same time give you one extra food from the freshwater lake. That should have been done way back in the ancient days.

Maybe you could look up the City Specialization Guide by Excl in the "Strategy Articles" section. Read his section on "Feeding you city". I think that alone should be able to catapult you way up on Warlord.

(I used to just be able to win on Warlord. Then I learnt how to feed my cities, and I actually dominated the whole game, got too bored and picked war to get a domination victory.)
