Two related wonders I would like to see are...

Gotthard Tunnel... . The Swiss deserve a wonder. A one tile industrial era wonder that allows movement through a mountain tile. Also gives a free trader and route and creates roads from the source city to the tunnel and from the tunnel to the closest player or allied city.

Panama Canal ... A two tile industrial wonder that allows the movement of naval units through land tiles. Both ends of the canal must be on coast or adjacent to the city centre.

Well, Machu Picchu was the most voted wonder in the two polls I've done about wonders of the world, it seems that Machu Picchu is the favorite wonder of the fan base not yet included in civ6. This is officially confirmed for Gathering Storm.

Other favorite wonders are Great Mosque of Djenne, Himeji Castle, Borobudur, Notre Dame and Statue of Zeus. I hope that we can get some of them...or all of them :D.

I think a Malian wonder is a shoo-in, considering we know they're included, and the lack of African wonders in general. I'm hoping for the Sankoré Madrasa.

I hope so, it will be a disappointment if there is not at least one African wonder in this expansion. Either Sankoré Madrasa or Great Mosque of Djenne would be great choices.

The Kasubi Tombs and the Great Zimbabwe would be great, and often overlooked, African Wonders too.

Great Zimbabwe is already on Civ6

Burj Khalifa and some renewable energy thing like Tengger Desert Solar Park or Gansu Wind Farm.

Biodome: With the addition of Canada and an environmental influence in Gathering Storm, the Biodome of Montreal should be added. It’s architecturally beautiful and it’s a center for celebrating nature and educating the pubic in environmentalism.

Gardens by the Bay: Similar to the Biodome, these modern botanical gardens in Singapore are all about conservation and the structure is amazing. This wonder could also tie into the environmental approach to Gathering Storm.

Metropol Parasol: This wonder could work well with the archaeology system in Civ VI. A site in Seville, Spain was designated to be a parking garage until Roman ruins were found and the structure was built over the site instead.

San Alfonso Del Mar Resort: Seaside Resorts are a part of Civ now and this specific resort in Chile is world-renowned for its architecture and breathtaking views.

Völkerschlachtdenkmal: A monument in Leipzig commemorating the Battle of the Nations and Victory over Napoleon’s army. Could give a boost to alliances.

Others I’d like to see include:
  • The Gateway Arch (USA)
  • Chateau Frontenac (Canada)
  • Lotus Temple (India)
  • Dome of the Rock (Israel)
  • Burj Khalifa (UAE)
  • Temple of Hatshepsut (Egypt)
  • Manitou Cliff Dwellings (USA)

Id like to see newgrange to be added into the game. I think it would go nicely as another option to Stonehenge.

I must reiterate the Kola Superdeep Borehole.

Well...with the second expansion launched, here are the results:

1. Machu Picchu - 67.8% - Already in game in Gathering Storm expansion
2. Statue of Zeus - 59.3%
3. Great Mosque of Djenne, Himeji Castle and Notre Dame - 57.6%
4. Borobudur - 54.2%

5. Palace of Versailles - 45.8%
6. Neuschwanstein - 44.1%
7. Louvre - 42.4%
8. Leaning Tower of Pisa - 40.7%

9. Shwedagon Paya - 39.0%
10. Parthenon and St. Peter's Basilica - 37.3%
11. Pentagon - 35.6%
12. Church of Saint George (Lalibela) and Empire State Building - 28.8%

I'm surprised that we only get Machu Picchu from the main wonders, hopefully we get a third expansion to get some favorites back.

And, thanks again everyone for the participation.

So, please @leif erikson, @Browd, @bite, close this thread.
