I understand that the final question is meant as the "answer" to something else in a game show. But the rest has me baffled.

There is no question mark there. He said:

That's how they answer in that show (don't ask me why).

\"to be high\" means intoxicated with alcohol or drugs or even through spiritual enthusiasm... something generally that induces an intoxicated state.

That's how they answer in that show (don't ask me why).

But that's how shows like Jeopardy! work, iirc: the contestant is given the answer (in this case probably a description of cocaine without using the word cocaine), and they have to respond with the question.

Still, as you say, don't ask me why.

Not all questions have answers, and vice versa.

It should be noted that while bees have been around for ~100 million years, very few individual bees are actually that age.
