What Civs do you prefer in the game?
And the reason?

I'm play primarily Pangaea's on huge maps, so I'm inclined towards the Americans and Ottomans in regards to traits, and the Ottomans and Chines in regards to UU's.

I'm not really sure on the [c3c] civ's, but so far, I'm enjoying the Maya and Inca.

I like anything religious, I cannot stand multiple turn anarchy. I am generally Religious + either Scientific, Agricultural, or Industrious. Egypt, Celts, and Babylonians.

Im still figuring this out mainly but I dont like civs that Have sea faring UUs or defensive UUs. I like a semi balanced UU or one with a high attack or move rate that I can take to blow down annoying civ's that get on my nerves, or have land that is rightfully mine. golden age easyier to get too then waiting for something to come attack you. I think most of the civ traits are useful though in some way or another but it really depends on what kinda game im playing and what strategy im planning on using: peaceful builder, culture civ, agressive conquering civ etc.

Greeks.

I don't like war, so the Hoplite helps alot. It's basicly a pikeman 1/3/1, but needs no iron, cost 20 instead of 30, and is around at the very begining of the game. Also the commercial/science trait combo is the best for science research, which I love to do. If you are a builder not a fighter you should really give the Greeks a try.

On a sidenote when I want to go for a fast military win I got with Zulu.

standard map is my favorite, so I always choose China,
but in conquest, industrious has been weakened:(
and religious + scientific also sounds good,
by the way, may i say that agriculture is weak?

Persians, Charthage and Ottomans

I love Persia, great Traits and a good UU. Rome is another favorite, even if their traits are not to my taste, and the Legionary is not the super UU, but... I just like the Romans. :P

I rarely play the same Civ more than two times, I just started each Civ from 1-3 with Rome. :)

You can pick your fav Civ because of the Traits you like, their UU, the leaderhead... or simply because of historical fondness.

I played the Rise of Rome conquest first. :)

persions, americans and greece

The Celts are my favorite Civ, but they are so brokenly powerful in Conquests that I have vowed never to play them again, instead playing as the Babylonians, Americans and Greeks most of the time, with occasional Sumerians.

No AI civs can ever withstand the might of the Roman Empire :)

I've also used Spain(a lot), America(sometimes),Greece(Rarely) and Japan(once)

I like Arabia, Greece, and Japan. Arabia seems to suit me best, and I like their UU. Greece is an awesome science generator late game. Japan is just all-around best for warmongering IMO. UU comes at right time, and the trait helps to rebuild all the land that you have captured.

Any Civ that is either Industrious, Religous or Expansionist. Those traits suit the way I play. Americans and Iroquis are my favourites.

Anything expansionist. I just don't like it when I can't see the surrounding terrain... (plus the early boost is great)

Glad you started this thread:D
I haven't got a chance to say which civs I like best yet.
I would have to say I play Germany, Aztecs, Japan,Spain and of course, Mother Russia the most.
That said, I probably play India the least, although it used to be one of my favorites (war elephants!)
I haven't got a chance to play the conquests civs as much as I'd like too.

i used to play as america because well im american so im partial to my county but lately ive been playing as the ottomans because i can actually use their UU before the games over
