What console should I get?

I'm planning to buy a console (my first console I've ever owned!!!). The space is limited so I'm not looking at a Wii, my budget is maybe $300 maybe more, but not as much as the PS3. So is the Xbox360 the best choice?

I'm sure you will enjoy your Xbox 360, at least until you get the ring of death. I would hold off getting a console until the PS3 comes down in price (a lot) and then get one of those. I wouldn't trust an Xbox as far as I could throw it.

This should be in All Other Games. Personally I prefer the PC for gaming but if you are gonna get a console it seems that the 360 best choice.

Unless you play with your face inches away from the TV (BAAAAAD idea) There is no reason why you can't get the wii (Best console)


BUT, if this is your first- get the PS2 or Xbox... so cheap, and there are a ton of games now.. why spend loads to get the latest thing.. you have thousands of hours worth of excellent gaming for a minute cost compared to the PS3 or Xbox360

I'm thinking of getting Guitar Hero 3 for it (a game to start out with), and maybe Halo 3, Maddon '08; all depending how much money I get. So which console is the best for the above games I mentioned?

Well Halo is Xbox exclusive, GH3 is best on the Wii (added rumble and sound from guitar) Madden is on all consoles

Does moving around with the Wii remote take alot of space? Does Maddon use a Wii remote?

BTW, there is a special diamond encrusted Wii for sale at Nintendo city, Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess special edition. $2,000 though. But a man can dream can't he?

Nah GH3 is best on Xbox360 or PS3, you have access to download content! Lots of cool songs not available on Ps2 or Wii
