What difficluty do you play?

Just starting to get a handle on Emperor. Monarch became too much of a sure thing. In fact, I got to the point where I would restart until I got a really BAD starting position on Monarch just because I wasn't getting the hang of Emperor. This actually helped to get me over the hump tho.

I just posted my first Emperor win. If anyone who regularly plays Monarch and has trouble with Emperor wants a good start with a lot of potential for crossover players, this is it - I've attached the SAV.

After 2 wins on emperor, i'm playing deity now. First game still in progress, cannot tell now if i'll win or not.
WOW! I'm on vanilla and deity is really tough! You are backwards from the very start of the game - must optimize every move in every turn you play, and still hope in some luck to win...
