What difficulty level are you stuck at?

I'm playing on Noble. Haven't actually given Prince a try. Perhaps I should.

I prefer Monarch and really have no desire to play at a higher level. It seems well balanced for the games I play (Large Map, Continents or Pangea most of the time, 9 civs).

Surprised you didn't stick in the lower difficulty levels, but at least I'm at Noble and holding. Don't think I'll make it beyond that any time soon, as I've only outright won one game so far on that level. At least there's only been one that I've been wiped out on, as well, so I'm surviving...just not winning.

Made the shift up to Emp and man thats a learning cliff. After a few poor games finally get to a sight of victory - are the battle hardened suvivors of the subjigation of Mansa enough to take a beachead on Japan? When the power cuts. And the spike blows the chip. Dont I wish I had bought a UPS... By the time I cobble togeather another pooter I seem to have lost my mojo.

I play huge Terra maps on Prince, epic.

Rarely win :-(

I am worried that the game is too one-sided at the higher difficulty levels, seems it's all about rushing.

I'm not interested in multiplayer, i prefer to take my sweet time calculating everything. I'll just move to Immortal instead and see where that leads me.
