That is impressive work.

Let's play with the idea that it is indeed ETs who make them.

Why would they travel long distances just to make elaborate crop circles and then just disappear again? Not to mention anal probe us?

What rule says they must be made at night?

Anybody that can make this in one night, in complete darkness, with a piece of rope and a couple of planks, might as well be from another planet as far as Im concerned.
I think that one's faked. The photo I mean.

Don't you think it's a little bit suspicious that these are usually circles? If we were seeing perfect ellipses, I'd start getting worried.

All you need is a bunch of dedicated people, GPS, a crop circle creation kit, a bunch of weed, and you're set.

Hardware store: get some planks of wood, robe, stakes, and a couple blankets.

Jesus Christ, two men in England made them in the 60s or 70s. There was a documentary about it.

It would be quite a conspiracy for so many individuals to make them all, and make them all so well. I voted alien, in the sense that I think what makes them is alien to what we currently know.

Crop circles have weird characteristics. A group of MIT students were contracted by some network station to make one according to the most talked about specifications (it was a fun show to watch). One of the things the students had to do to mimick 'real' crop circles was to build a machine (that didnt work, so they used an explosive instead) to dissiminate iron particles across the circle evenly.

Who the hell does that?

They probably wouldnt. Although lets not completely exclude the possibility that aliens from outer space can be silly. All Im saying is that just because many or the vast majority of the circles are hoaxes or just people having fun, it doesnt necessarily mean that they all are. The same as with UFO sightings. Does this mean I think aliens make the circles or beings from other dimensions, or Gaia (those are the top three nutty theories I think)? No, I dont.

You know what they say, all work and no play makes Zeepdorp a dull zagrafuzel:groucho:

Those guys claimed to have made virtually every crop circle ever made at the time of their 'coming-out', and people bought it so fast its funny.

Call me a skeptic but while those guys certainly made a few, I can't just believe they were that responible for the phenomenon. And certainly they thought it'd be important to use iron-file spreading bombs in their glpyhs!

It appears two guys saw an opportunity to be famous and they took it.

Edit: oh yeah, and the portable microwave to blow holes in the plant nodes.
