Wow. Already?
It's a vote I should have went with in the first place. I've actually been doubting the existence of God long before this thread was created.

Wow. Already?

More like "again". As I said, and now found examples of:

This is why I don't make announcements like these . I'm perhaps better off sticking with agnosticism than discovering God years ago.

That's why I said only "mentally ill" and added "IIRC". Was I incorrect in my recollection? I was confident at least that you had earlier stated that you have bipolar disorder.

It was misdiagnosed.

Thread title: "What do you think about Dawkins".

And you didn't bite?

I'm still undecided.

Mighty is the power of invoking Richard Dawkins!
He did not have anything to do with it. I was questioning the existence of God since I started working the weekends and was not able to attend church.

That card is fake. It's not even a parody of them digimon/yugi-oh/pokeman cards :p.

Magic the Gathering, perhaps? Dunno.

Anyways, while I agree with his arguments, he makes them in such a way that while a listener cannot call them directly rude, I find them condescending and disrespectful.

Yup I've got issues.

I'm thinking of a word starting with H ;)

There's a youtube clip asking where Neil Tyson asks Dawkins why he's such a jerk. It cannot be linked, because of language.

Then I'm glad you liked it.
Liked it?! It only raises more questions.

You don't have a problem with the flood story, the book of Job, and Revelation? The fact that Jesus is primarily an apocalyptic prophet? If your answer is no, I'm surprised. Mildly.

The flood story I have gotten that figured out, an exaggerated story from the Epic of Gilgamesh which a Sumerian Boat Captain was caught in a freak storm in the Persian Gulf. Job and the Revelations I have issues with. The Jesus as the apocalyptic prophet is the first time I heard that he was described as that.

Who do you think arranged for you to work weekends?

The power of Dawkins is strong my friend.

The only reason the MODs haven't shut down the thread is because of the poll. Or maybe the thread has been hijacked so much and turned into the autobiography of so many people that the poll has become insignificant?
