I think they are nutcases.

Why should we stop eating animals and using products made from animals just because we are intellegent and dont need to.

I like meat and i will never stop eating meat. Its just as natural for a human to eat meat as an animal to hunt and kill for its food.

And i find it funny that most of thier support for helping animals is only for the "cute and cuddly" or furry animals. And they say that animals can feel pain so we shouldnt use them for scientific research or food?

Its a lost cause. They are never i mean NEVER going to achieve thier goals on a worldwide scale.

I dont have a problem with vegetarians or vegans but when they try to impose thier beliefs on others it becomes my problem.

Just look at thier website and you can see how silly they are.

People for the Eating of Tasty Animals!

Obviously, I don't like them.

You basically just summed up my belief on PETA in one simple post. Bravo!

I kinda respect them, but kinda dispise them.

I think that there could certainly be a better way of treating our animals, but they might have too extreme of a message.

As well, breaking the laws shouldn't be done lightly. OTOH, I found their video of chicken treatment on the factory farms to be rather enlightening.

I find it disturbing that on the main page they have an article posted with absolute rubbish. Heres what it reads:

Happy Orgasm Day!
Meat causes impotence. Celebrate Orgasm Day by going vegetarian—and have your best orgasm ever!

 :shake:

Talk about BS. People have been eating meat for eons.

Their hearts are in the right place, but they are idiots. I've seen an ad campaingn comparing the plight of chickens to slavery in the United States. What a moronic idea.

And just a short time ago, during the annual frenzy over seal hunt, we had to endure the presence of Brigitte Bardot once again. Miss Bardot, who's claim to fame is that she showed her ass forty years ago, gave a press conference that made me mad, very mad. They're was a giant poster behind her with a picture of a seal attacking a human baby with a club or some sort of wooden weapon. These tactics will never work. In fact, when I see things like this, I end up eating MORE meat! Hmmmm..... MEAT!

WAIT A MINUTE ITS NOT EVEN A ARTICLE.

ITS A VIDEO WITH NO PROOF ITS TOTAL GARBAGE PROPAGANDA!

Is this what they have to resort to to get big burly men to go vegan!
This is getting its own post in the humor section.

^^^

Isnt that short video the most inane total garbage propaganda you have ever seen!

ITS WORSE THEN ANY POLITICAL COMMERCIALS.

They are, in my opinion, a disgrace to the human race.

anyone who cares for an animal more than his own well being of his fellow man deserves nothing

the horror

PETA vice president Mary Beth Sweetland has diabetes and injects herself daily with insulin that was tested on animals. Yet she campaigns against experiments on animals. making her a veritable poster-child for hypocrisy. She concedes that her medicine "still contains some animal products ... and I have no qualms about it ... I don't see myself as a hypocrite. I need my life to fight for the rights of animals."
