What does CFC recognize you for?

It appears I am recognized for being a byzantinophile and for trying to hard in political threads.

In the context Dachs, which translates to doing more than rudimentary trolling. :p

Well, we can't all be Dachs and expound upon the Australian-UK relation to Japan before WWI.:p

Richard Cribb: My mentor in all things Ungentlemanly, as well as almost any interest I could possibly have a question in, from chess to philosophy, historiography, old-school trombone music, and Swedish. Also, a sharpener for my Victorian turns of phrase.

LucyDuke: Awesomest person ever. Also the person I once saved from a moving bus.

Perfection: The person who taught me the secrets of post-mining.

Warpus: Vodka, women, and an obsession with bacon: the ultimate cookie-cutter Pole, except that you're Canadian.

Narz: Rawlovers!

Bill3000: As lucy said, the original "-ass."

Kan: One of the few people around here who still remembers my Tom Cruise avatars. I haven't used them in five years, stop drawing me as an F-14 in the OT drawings! BTW when are you doing another one of those?

Oh man, I didn't even think of that! Thanks for saving me from the bus, Cheezy.

aelf - What was your civ4 series called? One of the few posters I recognize from before I fell into OT. Some flavor of Asian, I think.

EMC. Hey, it's always in my sig :p

I just realised you only joined in 2007. I always thought you've been here for a long time. Then again more than 4 years is a pretty long time.

Smellincoffee: Nehru patriarch, Frank Sinatra fan, atheist (but former Catholic I think?).

ex= Pentecostal (as of Jan 2006), but I spent the summer studying Catholicism with a friend who was interested in converting and needed a discussion partner to chew ideas with. I also attend an Episcopal church..though very much the staunch humanist, my study of Greek philosophy has given me a mystic side that feels at home inside the local Episc. parish. I'd call myself a Unitarian Universalist or a humanist before I would an atheist, though.

Hence why i asked.

From my interpretation of it, he seems to be saying the name is befitting. In other words, I think he's saying that you, as a poster, are useless.

Spoiler :
Hey, don't infract the translator!

Moderator Action: So why did you even make this post? To be mean? It is certainly not helpful.

DC crew has met up too; I've met madviking, Cheezy, BSmith, Nano, and JH personally, along with Integral (visiting for, among other things, the Rally to Restore Sanity and/or Fear) and Bill3000 (met up in my hometown in Germany of all places).

Well, the next time something of this sort happens, let me know.
