Huron tribe of native americans from Canada.

Actually I was thinking about the Cherokee Nation as being my 2nd greatest interest. Also, I have interest in creating a tribe that is Native Americans in general. It would include all civilizations that started in N America unified together.

How about a "civ" of naive Americans. There must be enough of them to vote for Bush, so I'm sure they could found a city. They'd also make the Zulus look very advanced in tech.

Both Stormerne and Marxist claim to be from 'East-Anglia'. I'd just name it UK or something. Strange people there on that island.

My user name is simply my last name followed by the initial of my First name followed by the year I first signed up to Hotmail. A. Tinnion 1997

If any of you watched Star Trek DS9, then you would know what my name means. For those of you who don't, Rotarran was the name of the Flagship of the 8th fleet under General Martaq. I personally didnt like the spelling so i changed it to RouTaran.

My real name is Juise, but it doesn't mean anything, and there isn't other single Juise
in Finland, (or anywhere propably) so i changed it jo Juize, which is even more strange. (I like strange names)

Esca was the name of a Roman Centurian.
His Legion was over run and wiped out by the Brits in East Anglia. (Must have been football supporters)
He was the last one standing.
The Brits were so impressed with his bravery, they spared his life.
They cut the wings off the golden eagle standard and gave it to him to take back to his bosses in Londinium.

I have taken my name from movie classic, Dirty Rotten Scoundrels, starring Steve Martin and Michael Caine.

Steve Martin's character plays the part of Ruprect, Michael Caine's brother, in an elaborate con scheme.

For anyone who's seen it they will know how hilarious this whole part was

I think my handle is somewhat self-explanatory. The Master of Ceremonies is the person who is in charge of a party, wedding or meeting. Basically, where there's a good time to be had - I'm in charge. Also, as one in my thirties dealing with most of you in your teens and twenties, I felt I needed a somewhat more mature name than the typical "PlanetX354" variety. If you need to shorten my handle in correspondence just call me MC or emcee (as is the shorthand version of the real Master of Ceremonies.)

MC, welcome to CFC. Hope you enjoy your time here as I have done. You might want to check the age FAQ thread in this forum before assuming too much about the ages of forummers, however.

Welcome, MC! Hope you like it around here. The folks here are pretty cool.

History Lesson -

Ashoka was a Emperor and General in ancient Asia - after conquering a large chunk of India and the surrounding area, he converted to Buddhism, renounced violence and spent his life supporting the building of monasteries and spreading of Buddhist teachings throughout his large empire and beyond. He gets the unique historical legacy of being both a great warrior and a great humanitarian.

Imagine a combination of Julius Caesar and St. Francis of Assisi, and you get a picture of the way Ashoka is viewed in some areas of Buddhist Asia.
