What does your voice sound like in real life?

But I assume your singing voice is different from your speaking voice? Inasmuch as you project, and sing from the diaphragm, rather than the way you speak, from the lungs?

That's what I was going to say. By the way you have a good singing voice Veritass.

Thanks for the compliments. The first time I heard my speaking/singing voice (they aren't that different), my first thought was, "Oh my God, my voice is that high!?" It's good to be a tenor, though.

I have one of those "radio voices" too. Its a baritone, and I've finally learned to speak slower, so people can understand. I did a fair bit of acting in late high school/college, but gave it up to focus on music (one performing art at a time).

On the machine; I sound like your average nerd, without the cracking of the voice.

In real life, It's rather hard to get it right when your voice is being blocked out by a thick skull. o_0; so.. I have no idea.

edit: oh right, my accent is your typical New Jersian (bottled water -> ba'ld wa'er).. but I've been told that I have a Polish/Eastern European influence somehow.

I heard about this one and, somehow Mr Whomp-star, I am not at all surprised to see that you caught it too. Maybe Santa will get you one for Christmas!
Holly wants a wireless kareoke microphone so maybe we could start a band.
How about you join us with some air drums or air pianist and we could play this song. Maybe you could be him.

If that's the kind of rock star you'd like to "airify", then you'd have to get an air-wig first :p

Solid tune though bro, solid.

I have a fairly deep voice, with a mild Southern accent common in the area between Mobile and Pensacola. Other than saying ya'll, calling any soda coke, and a slight tendency to slur words together, I don't use many Southern expressions, and most people say I talk a little too fast.

My voice is so low and manly that people think I must have had three puberties in my life, when I haven't even finished the first!

:mischief:

I wounder what the other vioces in my head would sound like if they were real people and not demons inhabiting my cranium.

Self-assessment is always dangerous, but let's see...

Medium tone
Medium-fast speech
Clearer than average
Slight southern accent

I have a deeper than normal voice (not James Earl Jones or anything though) with a slight Texan accent. I've been told that I mumble alot.
