What Happend to the Terrain?

Lush Rocky sounds so .........opposite..........

I tried to find some landscape pictures to represent the different rocky terrains.

Rocky (Cold) Jagged:

Rocky (Arid) Badland:

Rocky (Lush) Slick:

The Badland links are closest to how I imagine the terrain, it was hard to find good pictures for the others.
The first Lush example was quite close to how I imagine the terrain, especially if one imagine that there's a similar rocky formation in front of the lush part as can be seen behind it.

In reference to your most recent change to mapscripts, I generally use the last one you listed if I recall correctly. I like having the ability to set the number of continents on my world maps. Sometimes I do this to avoid having all civs declare war and enjoy my builder playstyle.

Ice and Taiga would keep their graphics. The current Tundra would get back it's old tundra graphics. And Permiforst would get the current Tundra's graphics (how it use to be). We will also need to make one more promotion on the Polar promotion line to reflect this if we go this way.
Two points on this.
-Do I understand this correctly? Remove the old permafrost textures from the game completely, give the "new" tundra texture to permafrost, and make tundra more like it used to be?
-I don't want to use the "old" tundra texture for tundra terrain, I'll make a new one with around 20% grey hue (rocks), 20% red and yellow hues (lichen) and around 60% white hue (snow). Probably some brown here and there too...

Sounds OK?

Btw. I do plan to reduce the amount of snow for taiga, replace it with more brown and desaturated greens, more greens than brown though. maybe 20% snow in the end.

Ok i think we are mixing each other up. basiclly

Art
Taiga = Fine the way you have it.
Permafrost = Fine the way you just added it.
Tundra = Gets a new graphic using on the old C2C Tundra art. NOT Permafrost.
Ice = Fine the way we have it.
