I like that song Kontroll på kontinentet, my sister downloaded it and after listening to the song 15 times it stuck...
My title is the name of a song made by a Swedish band, I think it was originally taken from a movie, but I haven't seen it. My sig is a quote from the singer in that band. He refers to people earning their living on bad music, which is boybands, britney....
I'm glad he did Switch. There are some people whose presence I value here more than others...
As for my title: the calm at the centre of the hurricane - staying cool when all else is chaos? Perhaps. But it's really a statement of my job as a moderator.
My title is an oxymoron... When I first came to CFC I had to think up something witty to rival titles such as Dell19's... What a pity this is all I came up with
My sig is an advertising monstrosity, it's time I cleaned it up a little...
I am He Who Opposes, since I noticed that most things I had an oppion about was not like most others (read: Americans) on this forum. Therefore I declared to Oppose those *evil* oppions, and make the world a little bit better.
The title is the default.
The Avatar is most of the time blank.
The sig is blank for the same reason. I don't wnat to post a one-line message that takes up 20 lines worth of space. I ignore most avatars and sigs anyway as most of them are pretty trite.
Originally my title was "the Outbond". To extract from my post about my name:
Padma was never the protagonist of a story, although he was fequently seen in a secondary role. He is first seen as an "Outbond", someone who is a connection between the Exotic worlds and another group, like an ambassador, or a contract specialist.
Toward the end of his life, Padma was given the title of "Inbond", which denotes the great respect the other Exotics had for him, and represents his position as one who helps them understand themselves better.
When Thunderfall made me a moderator, I changed my title to "Inbond", and then added "(Moderator)" to make sure it was clear.
If your title needs to be explained then either: (a) the reader isn't intelligent enough; (b) the writer isn't witty enough; or (c) you are a boring person who finds the mundane interesting.
If you don't understand mine, you probably haven't had the proper class in school yet. Don't worry, I'm sure you'll get your permission slips soon.
BTW...can your title be an HTML link? I think a title that was a link to this thread would be fun....
