What is your occupation?

I want to study politcs/history at Juniata College, or since Im very interested in biology I might go the biology/prephysical therapy direction. Im stil in highschool though, so I have time.

Anyone have any ideas which of these treks or directions would be better to take in terms of job opportunities?

i am a history/poli sci major at richard stockton college and plan to enter the teaching program. law school is an option, too.

biology? many more opportunities i would suppose. med school, all kinds of different fields of biology also. even pharmacutecal sales (though they're not worth what they get paid IMO)

Thanks El Justo :)

Right now Im sliding towards the politics/history major. I was looking at what jobs you could get, like working for the FTC and other governmental organizations. I wouldn't mind a job with some sort of international relationships.

Tassadar, your story sounds too good to be true. You can just declare yourself burned out and get lots of money. Don't you actually have to be sick? Getting tired of your job is something that happens to all, it is not a disease. But hey, if you can pull it off, good for you, but HOW?

And getting jobs through connections is what it is all about, what is an education worth compared to knowing somebody in the company.

There is recognise symtom to depression, like lack of sleep, humor change, suicide thinking, your doctor have no choice to give you a break, if he refuse or look sceptic, then just say, if i suicide myself i ll let my family know that you refuse to help me. He will help you, beelive me. A lawyer charge against a doctor can cost him his reputation and a lots of money.

Yes i agree, good connection in whatever field is your best allies in improving your life quality. I saw some uneducated poeple getting the production director job.

Yep, it is not fair but that's life. Also, this is true wheter you live in a capitalist or communist country.

Sixth form is the final two years of school in Britain - ages 16-18.

I work in broadcasting and write books on theology and religious history. But I'm thinking of going back into academia. Anything to escape the increasingly depressing stinkhole that is London.

I'm a student at Warwick yet at the moment I'm spending my time delivering mail and getting taxed incorrectly so that I can get a rebate some time next year...

I'll be starting to study biology soon. Although in the future, I intend to get involved in aeronautical engineering.

I'm studying within health-care at the moment and have done 3 years so far. I used to work extra as a security-guard, but not so much anymore.

Music student, living from my father's money + what I make at concerts (which is very little).

Gonna start doing some more commercial stuff because I don't like the idea of starving.
