A couple of DOS games that are fun are Genghis Khan II and Lords of the Realm. I'd like to play Hunt for Red October (the PC strategy version, not the crappy SNES action game) and Harpoon II, but I can't get them to work on my system. Harpoon II is still the most realistic strategy game ever made.

Dune II is still one thats good to still play! lots of tactics and strategies, i.e. build massive army of tanks...
Dune II is awesome. But, you have to admit, it can't handle that many strategies.. Just rush/boom/turtle.
