Amazing what hype can do - Turn lame plagiarism into what people think is directional skill.

And people wonder why I scoff at society?

:D

I saw it as homage and he did give credit while the original aspects of the movie were great. I watched many of the movies that inspired Kill Bill one and I enjoyed it alot, hype really had nothing to do with it. Even if the movie had been nothing but blatant ripoffs it didn't need to be hyped for the masses to enjoy it.

I saw all of Kill Bill 1, but never got around to 2.

I've seen about 90% of Pulp Fiction, so I said I had seen it, even though they weren't all in one sitting. I've seen about 20% of Reservoir Dogs, so I'll have to get around to watching all of that one as well.

Kill Bill 1
Fell asleep during Kill Bill 2 (doing HW all night, I couldn't stay awake)
Hero
Pulp Fiction

Hero's not a QT film there Atlas . . .

I've seen all those listed in the poll. Pulp Fiction is the only one that's truly great. The Kill Bills were good, but nothing really special. Reservior Dogs would be a cult classic at best if QT hadn't gone on to become a name. I'd actually rank it below the Kill Bills. Jackie Brown is best forgotten . . .

Pulp Fiction

the best one, classic, i have it on VHS, and the tape is almost torn, due to repeated viewing.

Kill Bill is awsome too. i really like Uma, she is not your typical Hollywood actress, and she just kicks ass.

samuel jackson, oh my God!! the ultimate cool!! Correctomundo

Cool:). Anyone else here seen any Quentin Tarantino movies?

I've only seen Pulp Fiction and Reservoir Dogs. I can see why people like them, and why they think they're clever & well done and even masterpieces, but they're really not my sort of thing. I have a pretty big difficulty in accepting the portrayal of violence & death as cool and almost inconsequential (though he's right, you would have to wash the car pretty good...).

Was Hostile a Tarantino movie?
If it was, I've seen 3. That one and Kill Bill 1 and 2.

The only Tarantino movies are the ones mentioned in this poll! There are no other Tarantino movies in existence.

Just to clarify. :)

All of them apart from "From Dusk to Dawn" which from the posts hear doesn't sound like much of a loss.

I love "Reservoir Dogs" and "Pulp Fiction", such great dialogue.

Ang Lee (Brokeback Mountain, Crouching Tiger, etc) directed The Hulk. I do not believe that Quentin Tarantino was involved with it. He wasn't credited with any involvement, at any rate . . .

It shames me to say I haven't seen Jackie Brown.

I consider Kill Bill (yes, its one movie) to be among my favourites. Particularly good is the final standoff between Uma and David Caradine. It includes some of the best dialogue in cinematic history (in particular, Bill's take on superheroes).

Pulp Fiction and Resevoir Dogs are slightly lower on my list, but I'd gladly watch them repeatedly in the place of half the crap that comes out nowadays.

But Tarentino does a lot of things that piss me off.
1) Hero. Why the hell did he attach his name to it? It was a craptastic movie anyways.
2) Hostel. One of the reasons I like Tarentino flicks is the stylized violence. Hostel's violence was just nasty.
3) CSI season finale. WTH?

I did like the secne he directed in Sin City, however (the scene where the samarii whore Miho kicks some serious arse).

surprising more people have seen kill bill1 and then not seen kill bill 2 which for me kinda ends the story.

Hero was alright though got a bit boring towards the end

You mean the part when it turned into a CCP propaganda flick?

Huh? I don't recall Nameless spouting anti-bourgeoise/pro-marxist sentiments. He simply wanted the country to hold together.

I thought it was a lot better than most American "propaganda" flicks.

Anyway...I don't like Quentin. He reminds me of the nerdy, egotistical clerks that I find in my local movie stores.

When is Tarantino gonna get off his ass and do another movie, rather than just attach his name to others'?

Like that World War II one he always talks about.
