Amazing what hype can do - Turn lame plagiarism into what people think is directional skill.

And people wonder why I scoff at society?

:D

I take it you are referring to Kill Bill his homage to asian martial arts cinema?

Dusk till Dawn is only good for having sexy girls in it, especially Salma Hayek, pity the good parts were too short. Unfortunately I never got to watch pulp fiction.

Nonsense. It is more like a skill in reinterpreting pop culture genre's of kung-fu,mobsters stories, black exploitation, samurai western and etc. etc.
That is not necessary plagiarism, but more of an enhancement.:)

Reservoir Dogs is by far my favorite. Pulp Fiction would be second. Oh yeah and I had thought Four Rooms was amusing also.

All except Jackie Brown. I love Tarantino, Pulp fiction is one of my favorite movies.

he also directed a small part of Sin City, also a great movie.

However, when the guy who drove the van and who robbed the bank shot the 19 year old chick (I kind of forgot the names of the people:P) twice for not shutting up about him forgetting where he had parked was pretty awesome:lol:!

That would be Robert DeNiro.

You left one off the list and its a good one too. Four Rooms. Connected story like Pulp Fiction about four rooms in a hotel on a holiday night. Very interesting flick.

The movie was divided into four segments, each directed and written by someone else. Dont hold me to this, but Im pretty sure Tarantino was only responsible for the 4th section with Willis and the knife bet.

Finally, I was sad to see that Nice Guy Eddie aka Chris Penn died earlier this week.

I had to watch Kill Bill vol 1 at school the other day, second time I've seen it.

Thats the only Quentin Tarantino movie I have seen.

I have to say, it is pretty weird. I don't like it at all.

Wow that is pretty cool. The most radical movie I got to watch at school was Lawrence of Arabia. Obviously not very radical!

The coolest movie I can remember watching at school was a pirate copy of Arnie in Predator. It hadn't come out at the cinemas yet. In fact nobody had even heard about it. The dude that owned it played it in a classroom at lunchtimes and absolutely packed them in. Amusingly the crows in the trees outside made the same gurgle that the predator makes so it freaked everyone out. Ahhh memories!

Four rooms wasnt just Tarantino though. I think his story was the one with Bruce Willis, and it was generally better than the rest.
That said i do not like his work; it is too emtpy of anything i like in films, like horror or philosophical undertones.

Cutting a policemans ear in Reservoir Dogs isn't horrific enough?

I saw Pulp Fiction, and really enjoyed it.
I also saw the episode of CSI he directed.

It was violent, but i wouldnt call it horrific; he mainly focuses on the violence itself, without providing clear reasons for it. The character who cut the policeman's ear was playing a sociopath but you didnt get to see any depth of his thought, he just acted violently.

I've seen all except for the Bills.

Never got to see Reservoir Dogs until late last year.

Seen Jackie Brown in a cinema on a 30th of April, guess it was 1998, still remember that well because of suffering the first hour long memory loss ever later than night...

I've seen Pulp Fiction, and as a matter of fact, I've long been planning to watch Kill Bill vol 1 tonight. And then this poll shows up, the same day.

The world is full of coincidences.:crazyeye:

No, he just wrote the script. And also he kind of denied making it to so it doesn't really count to much:P.
