What quote will George W. Bush be remembered by?

The most (tragically) influencial two are "axis of evil" and "with us or against us".

Or maybe he'll be remembered for: "If I said you had a beautiful axis would you hold it against me."

Go to youtube and find everything before the presidential campaign, it seems he got dumb (old?) only when it started.
Sometimes alcoholism, even after years of sobriety, can catch up to you. Sometimes high stress (such as a presidential campaign) can tear you down if your body is already weakened from something (say alcoholism damage, or other things we don't know about). And sometimes people are so good they can convincingly fake being bad. Which is it?

Not that im saying you guys are wrong.. But are you sure all those quotes are legit? Some of them sound so far fetched the someone could of made it up and posted it on the internet...

OUCH! I hadn't heard that one before. That is REALLY scary.
Indeed this really shows his arrogance and ignorance of the honorable office he holds. When I heard this quote he went for "incompetent president" to "Satan's little figure-head" in my mind.

This quote was no mistaken slip either... :(

I'm not wholly convinced he said that one, but if he did say it, I can easily imagine his voice.

Our enemies are innovative and resourceful, and so are we, They never stop thinking about new ways to harm our country and our people, and neither do we. - George W Bush

LOL!! My favorite Bushism ever. I'm thinking "Mission Accomplished", though. That proved such a PR disaster, and it's a great lesson for future Commanders in Chief.

"In free Iraq there will be no more wars of aggression against your neighbours, no more poison factories, no more executions of dissidents, no more torture chambers and rape rooms.

Instead you will have curfews, al qaeda operatives, kidnappings, security crackdowns, truck bombs, suicide bombers, sectarian violence, and a civil war."

His first presidential debates are so full of quotes that seem like outright lies now about his foreign policy.

"First question is what's in the best interests of the United States? What's in the best interests of our people? When it comes to foreign policy that will be my guiding question. Is it in our nation's interests?"

"It really depends upon how our nation conducts itself in foreign policy. If we're an arrogant nation, they'll resent us. If we're a humble nation, but strong, they'll welcome us."

His most famous quote as Governor of Texas:

"Victory means exit strategy, and it's important for the President to explain to us what the exit strategy is."

It just keeps getting funnier and funnier as time goes by.
