What should the EU's position be on the new escalation in Palestine?

Seriously, this anti-Israel hysteria in Europe and Latin America can only be attributed to left-wing idiocy or good old anti-semitism. In Latin America my guess is that the first is stronger, Europe has a consistent history of favouring the second.

I'd place my bet on the left-wing idiocy. Inherent anti-semitism among Europeans is a myth. The most dangerous anti-semites in today's Europe are probably the young Muslim immigrants. There is some latent anti-semitism among the older generation, but I think that WW2 silenced them forever. And the younger people don't give a damn, because they're not religious (there are notable exceptions though, usually called neonazis, who are vocal, but in fact very weak).
