I am talking about plays, musical, and that sort of thing that you would go to a theatre to watch. I know some might not have been to one, but it is the best way to watch the action since you get to be close to the action.

The last time I went to a theatre was Yesterday when I saw Phantom of the Opera. I have seen it before, but man it was awesome and still surprising even though I knew what was going on. It certainly is why going to the theatre is much better than going to the movies. I am still excited about it, which is one reason I started this thread.

About the title, I am not too sure how to phrase it, which is why it looks awkward. So if someone can think of a better thread title, then I would be willing to accept any suggestions. Thanks to Ziggy for a better title. :)

What's a theatre?

More seriously: The Music Man.

Leonard Cohen about a month ago. Going to Clapton on wednesday!!!

Saw A Delicate Balance by Edward Albee about a month ago.

Have tickets to A Raisin in the Sun, The Two Gentleman From Verona, and Caroline or Change

Don't remember the last time I went to a theater performance. I saw some broadway plays many many years ago.

I was in a choral festival recently, but before that... it's probably been over a year since I in the audience for a show.

A performance of Arthur Miller's The Man Who Had all The Luck about two weeks ago - two for one ticket offer. It was quite good :)

The last performance I saw on stage was Eddie Izzard at DAR Constitution Hall last spring.

Before that, maybe Evanescence or Dido at the same venue.

I went to a performance of Columbus' skit comedy troupe about a month ago. Some bits were hysterical, some were lacking. I see local bands at bars about every other week or so.

I'm in the process of trying to score tickets to see Buddy Guy tonight. Failing that, I'll see another local band tonight.

It's so long ago I can't remember. But after Easter I'm going to Edinburgh to see Waiting for Godot.

Play/musical? No idea. Probably not since I was in school.

Last time I saw a band was last Friday, when me and my flatmate went to see her boyfriend's band. I didn't like them that much, not really "my thing", but I don't think anyone noticed. Or cared :p . I got quite drunk though, which was fun. The club they were playing at was full of trendy scenesters, and although most of them looked older, better dressed, and more attractive than me, I felt like they had nothing, like they were microscopic splodges, and the club was my petri dish.

It was a fun night, I might go back there.
