One of my first thoughts on seeing the civ-specific abilities is the weak connection of civs to the religious attribute. This US citizen thinks that a Muslim or Arab civ is better religious/expansionist than the Iroquois or better religious/scientific than the Babylonians.
I'd also like to create better seafaring civs, like Phoenician or Viking, with ships as special units.
