I demand all currently existing DLC civ's be bundled together at a REASONABLE PRICE and not at the overvalued rates they currently have. Also, DLC in this way seperates players into haves and have nots. If i start a game without DLC because i only have mongol, i alienate people who have the right to use a product they paid for and should expect to be allowed to use.
but if i don't, it alienates me, losing to overpowered DLC cives in MP games. there is no win. they need to stabilize the DLC, and instead of copying everyone elses DLC scam, they need to think about how DLC can be applied in a positive way to provide MORE and not as a way to provide LESS, while disguising it as "more". more what, more money i have to pay to not feel ripped off? that itself makes me feel ripped off.
That said - as a bundle, and not separately, i would like:
Huron Natives: Skræling, as called by the norse who they fought with, they had many wars with the iriqois, mohawk, and french.
Inuet: While not empire-builders, the Inuet hold a uinique indiginous culture - one that has survived many foes from different ages, and their culture still holds true.
Los Millares/El Argar: This Iberian civilization is a pre-roman euro-civ and either will do. Los Millares and El Argar were among the first civilizations to use copper, and El Argar became the monoculture after bronze.
Indiginous civilizations - Prehistoric Civilizations.
Indiginous Civ's in real life are kind of dying out, and they are important to our earth. sometimes, culture spread without empires as seen at sites like Gobekli Tepe. (new wonder please?)
Prehistoric Civ's may not have preserved themselves but if we retrospectively removed them from history, where would humanity be in our advancement?
Im just saying in a game of CIVILIZATION there is more than EMPIRES that matter. This game gives prehistoric civ's the right to try to stand the test of time or indiginous ones to become relevant on a world scale.
for future DLC, i would like to explore more non-empire civilizations, and not "kingdoms" like Siam or Songhai or Moor. I would rather have civ's like the Medeans, Sumerians or Cherokee. Medeans and Sumer are good examples of ancient civ's and cherokee were a strong nation and culture until they were ethnicly cleansed.
In this modern age of discovering ancient sites like Gobekli Tepe and lost cultures - it feels more valuable that civ is as much about discovering antiquity as about going modern.
