So I joined the Game Society at Uni. Now I have an actual excuse to paint my Mini's, and with my course laid out the way it is, I have way more time to do so too!
Tyranids, watch out, you'll be done soon I'll wager!
I just bought $500 worth of chaos minis for $200. Yey for ebay. I'm gonna split it with a pal, but I'll still get a nice amount of minis: chaos knights, warriors, hell cannon, characters and some other cool stuff.
Oldish; not the hunchback warriors, but the cool ones. But the old cool metal knights, not the new cool plastic ones. I seriously doubt that anyone is selling the new ones already, they were just released last saturday.
Well, I finally finished Archaon (apart from static grass...) and his buddy with the big axe.
This is what I'm working on now:
You might recognice Skullface from earlier, since then I've lowered the head, and skulpted some kind of throat guard. The sorcerer on foot got that hand because the earlier owner lost the pointing hand. I had great problems finding a left hand that wasn't too small; whatever you say about this one, it isn't too small.
I had a nice, quick 500 point match with my Chaos Marines vs. Space Marines. I won by one point after 6 turns My Chaos Lord lasted right till near the end, and my 7 man Nurgle Marine squad had nothing but their Aspiring champion with power fist left at the end. My other two 5 man squads were unharmed entirely. Luckily I tool out his Librarian before he got into CC with my Nurgles and their plasma guns!
