There's nothing wrong with 127 evie, besides it's how you use your intellegence that counts, and the way you handle those guys in SG tells me you are pretty sharp

all cleverer then me

With an IQ of just 92, im out of my depth here at CFC!

EDIT: Just took the testcafe.com IQ test. Have apparantly gained 25 IQ points in 4 months. Heh. At this rate I'll be comprehending life, the universe, and everything within a year.:crazyeye:

I took the test in grade school and they told my parents the results.

They chose not to disclose the results to me. I think its better that way. I know exactly how smart I am, and I'm glad I don't have a universal figure to rub in anyone's faces.

I took a formal IQ test in elementary school. Upon receiving the results and their implication the rise in ego quickly squashed whatever intelligence the testers had claimed put me above the average person.

I wish I had never known. Hubris is paradise until you allow reality in.

184, according to the special testing I was given after I entered the military. Really bizzare tests - where they expect you to learn morse code in a matter of seconds, and try to keep up. Other problems included things like trying to determine what certain other Oriental language characters meant, after being given knowledge of a few basic symbols. It was a test like none I've ever seen. Took all day long. I was the only one in my platoon (of 80+), to be hauled off and do this, probably due to the fact that I scored the highest ASVAB (Armed Services Vocational Aptitude Battery) test score of the month, in my home State. But... at that time - it was Arkansas, so I don't really know if that's saying much. :D

A real IQ test measures, not what you have learned, but what your mind/ intellect is capable of. The test should be able to reach deep inside your mind, and find the limit of your capabilites. That's what the military was fishing for, with me. The end result was my being placed into a rather good, technical job. But, there is a down side:

hint... being surrounded by smart people usually leads to a work environment that is annoying as hell.

...but then again - working around idiots has it's down side as well. :cringe:

I work alone. :D

i just took this one and i got 140 http://www.testcafe.com/iqtest/
whether the results are dependable or not i don't know i saw it on netscape so i gave a click

I don't see IQ as a big deal though. There are plenty of supposed geniusess that suck at school where normal intelegent people can sometimes do good. I once read on a banner it's not your IQ that counts it's your I will, and i believe this to be true.

Congratulations!
Your general IQ score is 156.

A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 144-160 is considered to be "gifted".

proof iq tests mean nothing ;)

Took test cafe iq test again, looking back at page 3 of this thread I got 158 originally. This time:

"Congratulations!
Your general IQ score is 164.

A person whose IQ score falls in the range of 161 and above is considered to be a "genius"."

Well, hmm, I'm a genius at IQ tests, maybe. And at general knowledge, I'm Einstein.

However, in terms of financial and certain social skills you may as well call me 'The Amazing Retardo!'

Well, I just entered this thread so the average IQ around here just went down.
I never had a real IQ test, but the internet one scored me at 138. I know I'm no where near that for real.
Like Bart Simpson once said, "I'm dumb, dumb as a post okay!"

Took one two years ago, my score was 145.
