examples:

-Washington as the first, leader of the war of independance.

-Lincoln seems to be a favorite as a humanitarian and the leader during the civil war.

-FDR, WWII

-Kennnedy, bringing us back from the brink of nuclear war.

-Reagan, end of the USSR/coldwar.

-W Bush, bringing us to the brink, bringing back the crusades.

I would like to do a pole, but you know there isn't enough room for everybody and you know someone important would be left out.

Personally I think Reagan has had the biggest impact, walls coming down et al.

Define "impact". :p

On the world? Probably FDR.

He led us through world war II, and the great depression.

Cant prove why he was an impact on the rest of the world, but he would seem more so then any other american president. :p

Ron Reagan.

With Reagan, Thatcher, Gorbachev, and John Paul II as world leaders, the USA and its allies and the USSR and its allies--pretty much the whole world was in one camp or the other--were able to come to a peaceful ending of the Cold War.

Not as much as later presidents. Lincoln really only help for our own Civil War, and Wasington for our own Revolution. They have a greater impact here, then on the rest of the world.

FDR I'll give you, but less so Kennedy, and definetly not Reagan. Reagan was just the lucky guy in office at the time Russian Communism finally gave out.

GWB, has had some impact, but not as much as FDR.

Overall, on the World.
Then probably one of the earlier presidents and thier impact on the American revolution. Maybe Washington or Jefferson.

As bad as he has been, and as counter to the ideals of the morals for which the United States was built upon... I'd have to say that President gw bush has had the greatest impact on the world. Though as I percieve it gw bush is just the front man for a fanatical movement that has been within US politics for many decades now. He is the current flag standard for a movement that has been manipulatiing world events for some time now. But it is during his watch that this all becomes undeniable (when based on historical proof). Even the couch potatoes are begining to take notice of American politics. If gw bush should be accredited with any acheivement it should be for fracking things up so bad that even teh sheep take notice... eventually.

I would say either Washington or Lincoln.

Truman. End of WWII, nukes, Cold War, and the MartialMarshall Plan.

You mean the Marshall plan ;)

I pick FDR myself. Led America through the Depression, and rallied it up to be the world power it is today. Held things together through WWII, and created the Manhattan Project.
